Friendship

Margaret Walker once said,"Friends and good manners will carry you where money won't go". I strongly agree with this quote. Sure  money solves some problems but it is not the true key to happiness. Friends are actually in my opinion more valuable then money. I know that sounds cheesy but it is true.
Yes money can buy you the newest iPhone or even a new house but it can't buy you true friends. It is really true what people say that money does not buy you happiness. Some people say that money can buy friends. What kind of friends need to be bought? Obviously not true friends. True friends will be your friend through thick and thin. They are the people who help out through life.
For example, I know for a fact that without my friends I would not be anywhere in life. They are so amazing and truly great for supporting me. One friend in particular, who is actually my bet friend, has been there since day one. For me, the day I met her was one of the most important days. Without her I would have made a huge mess with my life. She has sat there with me cheering me on or even giving me advice. My friendship with her is worth more to me then any amount of money.
Money is a material that can not fulfill your need for friendship. The only thing that money can fill is bills being payed and temporary materialistic joy. Sure money can buy you a ticket to Disneyland or even the newest Steve Madden shoe collection. But just think. Do you think that those things are gonna be there to love, care or even support you in life? No, I highly doubt it. Money can not replace the true value of any friend.
This quote is self evident that friendship is very important, even more important then money. Money can not satisfy your desire for friendship. Love and cherish the friends that are in your life now. Remember money can not buy you everything. Not even happiness.

Memorible People

Ian Somerhalder once said, "You can't get anywhere without the people who have come into your life". I totally agree with this quote. Whether it was a bad memory with a person or a good one, they affected your life in one way or another. These people that come into your life shape and in a sense mold your life. There are people who leave dents in your life but that's what makes your life how it is now. People come and go in life but all of them have affected your life in one way or another.
How many friends do you have? How many enemies? Well either way both friends and enemies, even family members, have influenced our lives. I know for a fact my best friend, who I have known since 2005, has definitely effected my life. Honestly I don't know what I'd do without her. My life would be incomplete with my best friend. For the seven years I have known her she has really impacted my life. It just comes to show how friends can truly help shape how your life is.
Even though you may think that someone who has stepped into your life is not that important he or she truly is just as important as a family member. You may ask yourself how is this possible? Well in one way shape or form they made contact with you. The way you spoke or even made any contact with that person can have the smallest effect in your life.
In addition, it is also self evident that family can impact your life the most. From the moment you were born your family was there to raise and support you. Consequently by doing that, they helped mold your life. For example your parents are there to teach you right from wrong and in doing so they construct your sense of morals. These morals effect how you live your life. I know that this may all seem cheesy to be talking about but just look at all the people who are or have been in your life.
People come and go but either way they have an ever lasting affect in our lives. Ian Somerhalder is right, we would be no where without the people who came into our lives. So appreciate everyone who steps or stepped foot in your life because without them you would not be the person you are now.

Ambition

Pearl Bailey once stated, " A man without ambition is dead. A man with ambition but no love is dead. A man with ambition and love for his blessings on Earth is ever so alive." Ambition is something that I believe everyone should have. However, most people especially students in high school lack this.  I've noticed that people with out this characteristic in their personality tend to either fail classes or are just depressed. This is a characteristic that sets you apart from the crowd and may lead you into a success pathway in life.
Whether ambition pushes you to excel in high school or do well in sports it should be present in everyone's hearts. It is what pushes me to excel in my academics so I can go to a good college. It even pushes me to work harder at my modeling because it could lead me to being on promotional posters for H&M or even Urban outfitters. But there is a difference between having ambition and a love for what you're striving for, and having ambition to please someone else's goals.
I have seen people who want to please their parents by becoming a doctor, but they truly want to become a fashion designer. It's not about what pleases other people. Strive for what pleases you and makes you happy in life. Happiness and ambition. The perfect combination to a satisfy life. You don't want ambition that isn't pushing you toward something you don't want to do.
What is a person without ambition? Well he/ she might as well be dead. What's the point of living life with no ambition to do anything set in your heart? There really is no point. This characteristic is what helps place a purpose into your life.
Ambition. Such a powerful word that can lead to many positive things in life. I respect people with set goals to work hard to achieve them. The ability to work hard and have ambition burning in your heart is something I find quite amazing and special.
